NACCSNET LEADERS INDUCTION WORKSHOP

Today the NACCSNET elected leaders from six Sub-Counties (Linda Arts being a committed member) met for an induction workshop. The event was graced by Mr. Evans Achoki, The County Commissioner (CC) Narok County and Mr. Peter Muhia, The County Gender Officer.Members interacted with the CC and raised a number of partinent issues including children safe houses, collaboration between Civil Society and the Government, absorption of policies at county levels. The County Commissioner addressed the raised concerns and promised to work closely with NACCSNET from grassroot to the County Level.

A secretariat was elected and mandated with the task to spearhead NACCSNET at County and National Level, ensuring that all Organizations work closely together to avoid duplication of activities in areas, ensuring organizations reach the desired target groups/villages, ensuring all organizations make tangible impact within communities, supplement the government efforts in addressing key issues within the working areas, among other roles.
